ISLAMABAD: Sardar Latif Khosa was appointed adviser to Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Saturday.
The prime minister’s press secretary Imran Gardezi confirmed Khosa’s appointment as adviser to the prime minister.
Asked about the status of his earlier assignment as the attorney general (AG) of Pakistan, Gardezi said Khosa would now work as adviser to the prime minister and would cease to hold the portfolio of attorney general.
Asked who would now replace Khosa as the AG, Gardezi said he was not aware of a new appointee for the office. staff report
