ISLAMABAD: Hailing the decision of the Supreme Court to issue notice to former president Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf in connection with his November 3, 2007 actions, Attorney General Latif Khosa said on Wednesday the government was not in a position to defend the army ruler’s illegal actions. Talking to reporters, the AG said, “It is in the Sharia, Constitution and Supreme Court’s judgements that every person should be given the right to defend himself… Musharraf has no constitutional protection to defend his personal acts.” app
