ISLAMABAD: PML-Q Leader and General Secretary, Mushahid Hussain Syed has said that he held the government of Punjab responsible for the Gojra incident and demanded lodging of FIR against Punjab Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah, Dost Muhammad Khosa and Kamran Michele.

While announcing to observe “Black Day” today (Tuesday) against the Gojra incident, Mushahid Hussain demanded that IG Punjab, DCO and DPO must be suspended with immediate effect.

He expressed these views while addressing a Solidarity Conference here in PML-Q House in Islamabad on Monday.

Mushahid Hussain said that it was a shameful act and each and every citizen was grieved over it. While talking about the action against Musharraf he said that it is fruitless to flag a dead horse.

He said that one should not forget these political parties enjoy full freedom in Pakistan as a result of their deal with Musharraf, affirming that they will have to shun their dual attitude.

Mushahid Hussain said that now government was going to appoint persons of their own choice by replacing 95,000 peoples’ representatives with administrators. Aleem Adil Sheikh, Mir Naseer Mangle, Rizwan Saddiq and others were also present on the occasion.

MNA Akram Masih Gill while accusing Punjab government said that Punjab government had totally failed to stop the incident. He said that now it is responsibility of the Punjab government to carry out judicial probe of the incident. He also accused Shahbaz Bhatti for not settling the issues responsibly. “Even Shahbaz Bhatti did not recommend Punjab government for the strict action against the responsible of the incident, “Akram Masih added.
